Low Riders, East Siders
This evening the twins took their bikes out. This was a special bike day because they got NEW bikes for their 4th birthday. Ella’s bike is a Disney Princess bike with a basket and a baby seat in the back for carrying a doll. Eric’s bike is a very cool yellow, red & black Spiderman bike. Both bikes have bells. As always, I prayed hard to sweet 8 lb., 6 oz. baby Jesus for all of our safety on the ride. And of course, instead of being a safe parent I took pictures. But its ok. As you can see, my fourth roommate was there! Happy Viewing!

I got eaten alive by mosquitoes, and was grumpy on the way home so I didn’t get any pics on the way back…but the bottom line is we made it on our new bikes to and from our local playground! I can’t wait to really get the spring weather and let them go on bike rides. Maybe I will get some exercise too, so…win, win!
So cute! My 5 year old has been petitioning for a bike for a couple of years now, we really should get him one. As long as I don’t have to ride one myself!
Monique, the bikes were SO INEXPENSIVE. We got them at Walmart, and they were both under 70 bucks each. I was so surprised. For some reason, I remember my bikes as a kid being more expensive, but maybe I was a bigger kid, and that’s why. I say go ahead and do it!
